Ingredients
Scale
1 lb lean ground turkey
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended)
1 large egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, gently combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form them into patties about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent bulging.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
Lightly brush both sides of the turkey patties with olive oil.
Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Work in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 10 minutes.
Flip the patties carefully.
Continue to air fry for another 4 to 6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the air fryer and let the burgers rest for 5 minutes before serving on buns with your preferred toppings.
Notes
For extra moisture, add 1 tablespoon of finely grated onion to the mix.
If you are making the burgers ahead of time, store raw patties between sheets of parchment paper in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Cooking time varies by air fryer model and patty thickness; always check the internal temperature for safety.
