Ingredients
Scale
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 cups sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup chopped almonds
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, flaked coconut, and chopped almonds. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.
Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. You should get about 24 cookies.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Watch them closely as they can brown quickly.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, you can melt extra chocolate chips and drizzle them over the cooled cookies.
If you prefer a slightly softer cookie, reduce the baking time by one minute.
This recipe makes a great holiday coconut cookie treat.
