- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a smooth ball forms.
- Return to low heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
- Transfer dough to a bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot or Dutch oven to 375°F (190°C).

- Remove churros with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- In a shallow dish, combine sugar and cinnamon. Roll warm churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Notes
- Ensure oil temperature is consistent for even frying.
