Make juicy, crispy pork chops in your air fryer, finished with a simple, flavorful garlic herb butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (1-inch thick) boneless pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops completely dry using paper towels. This helps achieve crispiness.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Rub this seasoning mix evenly over all sides of the pork chops.
  3. Lightly brush both sides of the seasoned pork chops with olive oil.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Air fry for 10 minutes. Flip the pork chops and continue to cook for another 4 to 7 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) is reached. Total cook time will depend on thickness.
  7. While the pork chops finish cooking, prepare the garlic butter. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  8. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
  9. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the chopped parsley and thyme.
  10. Once the pork chops reach 145°F, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes.
  11. Spoon the warm garlic herb butter generously over the rested pork chops before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the chops with 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour mixed with the seasonings before oiling.
  • Use thick-cut chops (at least 1 inch) to prevent overcooking and drying out in the air fryer.
  • If you prefer bone-in chops, add 2-3 minutes to the total cooking time.
