Prepare simple, sweet, and tangy cranberry meatballs using only three ingredients in your slow cooker for a stress-free holiday appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (20 ounce) bag frozen pre-cooked meatballs
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar chili sauce
  • 1 (14 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the chili sauce and the jellied cranberry sauce over the meatballs.
  3. Stir gently to coat all the meatballs evenly with the sauce mixture.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Stir before serving warm with toothpicks for an easy party snack.

Notes

  • You can substitute BBQ sauce for the chili sauce for a BBQ cranberry flavor.
  • For a cranberry orange variation, add 1/4 cup of orange juice concentrate to the sauce mixture.
  • This recipe is excellent for making ahead; cool completely, store in an airtight container, and reheat slowly in the slow cooker.
