Ingredients
Scale
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
Add steak cubes in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Work in batches if necessary. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Add Italian seasoning. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return the seared steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the garlic butter sauce.
Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the steak to heat through and absorb the sauce.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For best results, use a good quality sirloin steak.
Do not overcook the steak; you want it to be tender and juicy.
Adjust the amount of garlic to your preference.
Serve with your favorite side dishes like mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
