- 1 package (13.75 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- For the Marinara Sauce:
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit in half.
- Tie each half into a knot.
- Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture over the biscuit knots.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the knots are baking, prepare the marinara sauce.
- In a small saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, minced garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
- Serve the warm garlic knots with the marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- You can add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese over the knots before baking for extra flavor.
- For a spicier marinara, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
