Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. Open the biscuit dough package and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Place the cut pieces into a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the biscuit pieces in the bowl. Gently toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the coated biscuit pieces into the prepared loaf pan, arranging them loosely.
  6. Sprinkle a little extra Parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

  • For a softer interior, use refrigerated canned biscuit dough. For a chewier texture, you can use homemade yeast dough cut into small pieces.
  • This bread pairs well with pasta dishes, chili, or soup.
  • If you want a crispier exterior, bake the bread in a round cake pan instead of a loaf pan.
