Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup mini pepperoni (optional)
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 4 rectangles. Pinch the seams together to form one large rectangle.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border on one edge.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and mini pepperoni (if using) over the sauce.
Starting from the edge with the sauce and toppings, tightly roll up the dough. Pinch the seams to seal.
Cut the roll into 1-inch thick pieces.
Place the rolls cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and oregano. Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra cheesy rolls, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
You can customize the fillings with your favorite pizza toppings like cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
