- 2 shots espresso (or 1/2 cup strong cold brew concentrate)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- If using honey, mix the honey with 1 tablespoon of hot water or hot espresso until it dissolves into a thin syrup.
- Brew the espresso shots or prepare the cold brew concentrate. Let it cool slightly if using hot espresso.
- In a glass, combine the dissolved honey syrup and the vanilla extract, if using.
- Add the ice cubes to the glass.
- Pour the almond milk over the ice.
- Slowly pour the cooled espresso or cold brew concentrate over the milk mixture.
- Stir gently until everything is combined.
- Taste and add more honey if you prefer it sweeter.
Notes
- For a colder, creamier texture, you can shake all ingredients (except ice) in a sealed jar before pouring over ice.
- If you do not have espresso, use very strong brewed coffee or cold brew concentrate.
- Use room temperature almond milk for better mixing with the honey syrup.
