Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the fillets.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
Notes
To keep the salmon moist, do not overcook it. Check for doneness at the 12-minute mark.
You can pan-sear this recipe instead: heat 1 tablespoon of the butter mixture in a skillet over medium heat, sear salmon skin-side down for 4 minutes, flip, add remaining butter mixture, and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Serve this salmon with steamed broccoli or roasted asparagus for a complete keto meal.
