These crispy chicken wings are coated in a sweet and spicy glaze made with sriracha and honey. They are perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sriracha
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, pepper, and flour until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the wings are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, combine sriracha, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  6. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the glaze thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven.
  8. In a large bowl, toss the hot wings with the sriracha-honey glaze until they are well coated.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with cilantro and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, pat them dry with paper towels before tossing with flour.
  • Adjust the amount of sriracha to control the spice level.
  • You can also grill or air fry the wings for a different cooking method.
