Make this incredibly creamy and tangy whipped feta dip in just five minutes. It is a simple, low-effort appetizer perfect for parties or snacking with pita bread and vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper into a food processor.
  2. Process the mixture until it becomes completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This usually takes 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the 1 tablespoon of olive oil until fully incorporated.
  4. Taste the dip and add more pepper or lemon juice if desired.
  5. Transfer the whipped feta dip to a serving bowl. Drizzle the top with a little extra olive oil before serving.

Notes

  • For a savory and sweet variation, drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the top before serving. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy hot honey feta dip.
  • Serve immediately or cover and chill for up to 2 days. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving if chilled.
  • This dip pairs well with warm pita bread, cucumber slices, bell pepper strips, or sturdy crackers.
